preparation

Tea:Pour 2-3 tablespoons of linseed into 100ml of cold water and leave to steep for 1 hour. Stir occasionally and pour off. The linseed should be allowed to swell in the cup in order to release its soothing mucilage into the water.

Recommended consumption:Drink slowly and in small sips.

Edition:The "slimy" tea can also be used externally as an anti-irritant compress. However, it should be discarded after a maximum of 5 hours, as the plant mucilage tends to bind disease-causing germs to itself.
