Japan Sencha Fuji, Green Tea

Sencha tea is by far the most popular tea in Japan and accounts for a large proportion of the tea produced there. This high-quality tea was harvested in spring and only lightly steamed before rolling. The leaf appears slightly brittle due to its tense character. After brewing, the fine leaf structure is clearly visible. The infusion shimmers deep olive green and produces a light green cup. This Sencha tastes much milder than its competitors. The pleasantly gentle note with a slight sweetness makes this tea particularly suitable for delicate palates.
