Tea:Pour 1-2 teaspoons (2-4g) of shepherd's purse into a cup (approx. 150ml) of boiling water, cover and leave to steep for 10 minutes. Strain.
Recommended consumption:Drink 1 cup of freshly prepared tea 2-3 times a day between meals for 1-2 weeks.
Tea for external use:For superficial, bleeding skin injuries, use a double-concentrated, cooled tea as a cold, moist compress. For nosebleeds, soak a handkerchief in the tea, make a nasal tampon from it and leave it in the nose for 1 hour.
Tea blend postpartum tea (infusion):Pour boiling water over 30g each of lady's mantle and shepherd's purse and lemon balm leaves. Leave to steep for 7 minutes, drink 1 cup 2-3 times a day for a maximum of 2 weeks. Reduce the dose if you have stomach pain or diarrhea. *Recipe by Ursel Bühring
